Physiotherapists have a large variety of treatment options to help to restore normal function. Electrotherapy such as laser, ultrasound, TENS and electrical muscle stimulation can be used in appropriate cases
Most animals require specific exercises to complete their rehabilitation, especially after surgery or an acute or chronic musculo-skeletal problem. Physiotherapists are able to devise individual exercise programs to help each animal reach their full potential.Physiotherapists can also give advice on your animals' environment that will help them perform tasks more easily. This can be extremely helpful for older animals or for those who have recently had surgery.
